“After year’s of lower back pain with multiple injections and surgeries having limited success, I visited Dr Lange to see if acupuncture could help. After 5 sessions over 3 weeks along with Dr Lange’s personalized home PT workouts I am seeing great improvement. No longer experiencing shooting sciatica down my leg for the first time in months. I would highly recommend visiting Dr Lange!”

“Dr. Lange was the only doctor who took the time to help me with my pain. The other doctors just wanted to prescribe me more pills.”
Benefits of Acupuncture
1. Improved Health and Quality of Life
Our lifestyles, thought patterns, and diets create an imbalance in the body (and emotional pain). Acupuncture helps to balance these energy systems through acupuncture points.
2. Stress Reduction with our unique "Acupuncture Deluxe." The benefits of massage with essential oils before the insertion of acupuncture needles help the patient relax.
3. Neurological
Fibromyalgia and nerve pain syndromes, Diabetic Neuropathy, Muscular Dystrophy
Autism and ADHD, Peripheral neuropathy, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's
Multiple Sclerosis, Strokes, and Mini-Strokes
Scalp acupuncture is frequently used in the rehabilitation of paralysis due to stroke, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury
4. Pain Reduction Dr. Lange has an intense background in rehabilitation as early as in the '90s. She had her personal injury practice for 10+ years, which allowed her to use a diversified experience with our "Acupuncture Deluxe."
Helping with chronic and acute pain is one of the most common applications of acupuncture. Arthritis, neck pain, jaw pain (TMJ), back pain, menstrual pain, carpal tunnel, plantar fasciitis, joint sprains & strains, digestive discomfort, etc., are very commonly helped by acupuncture. In addition, if you experience migraines, clusters, and other headaches, you can often find relief immediately while lying on the table. The results can be excellent.
5. Improved and Faster Recovery from Injury, Illness, and Surgery
This can be accomplished using acupuncture to increase circulation, reduce inflammation and reduce scarring. Our "Acupuncture Deluxe" include's stretches and rehabilitation to aid in a quicker healing process.
6. Emotional Balance
7. Respiratory Health
Effective for allergies, asthma, sinusitis, and rhinitis. These are conditions that are positively impacted with acupuncture every day.
8. Insomnia Relief
Insomnia and other sleep issues are also very commonly addressed by acupuncture. Acupuncture treatment can easily focus on insomnia and sleep disturbances.
9. Strengthening Your Immune System
This can be accomplished by balancing your body's energy systems with acupuncture. Stress, illness, environmental toxins, and allergies are just a few causes of a weakened immune system.
10. Peyronie's Disease, Prostatitis, and frequent urination. Other men's health conditions that acupuncture can help with include BPH, erectile dysfunction, prostatitis, prostate cancer symptoms, Peyronie's disease, frequent and painful urination, painful genitals, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Acupuncture also can improve sperm count quality, while reduced stress and better sleep can improve testosterone levels and libido. In addition, regular acupuncture treatments help increase stamina.
11. Premenstrual (PMS) and Menopausal Symptom Relief. These conditions are widespread, of course, and acupuncture effectively treats the symptoms associated with them: Headaches, cramping, sleep disturbances, mood swings, night sweats, short/long cycles.
12. Reduction of Side Effects of Chemo and Radiation Therapies
This is a very powerful benefit of acupuncture. Please head to www.cancer.gov and input "acupuncture" in their search box for more detailed information, including studies that have been conducted showing acupuncture's effectiveness. The side effects of acupuncture can help include (but are not limited to); coughing, fever, anxiety, nausea, depression, night sweats, dry mouth, pain, diarrhea, and constipation. Improved quality of life is, without a doubt, experienced by every cancer patient I have treated.
What is Oriental Medicine?
Oriental Medicine, also known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), is a holistic healthcare system with a history spanning over 3,000 years. It integrates Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, bodywork, and dietary therapy. Additionally, practitioners often incorporate exercise, breathing disciplines, and meditation, such as Chi Gung and Tai Chi, into wellness programs. These therapies harness the body’s inherent vital energy to promote self-healing.
How does it work?
Oriental Medicine is based on an energetic model, unlike the biochemical approach of Western Medicine. It centers on the concept of Qi (pronounced “chee”), a vital energy that flows through specific pathways called “meridians.” These meridians are linked to physiological systems and organs. Imbalances or deficiencies in Qi can lead to disease. Acupuncture works by stimulating points along the meridians to regulate the body’s energy flow, something Western Medicine cannot do in the same way.
What Can I Expect?
Many conditions may be alleviated very rapidly by Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. However, some conditions that have arisen over the course of years will be relieved only with slow, steady progress. As in any form of healing, the patient's attitude, diet, determination, and lifestyle will affect treatment. Therefore, patients are encouraged to participate in their healing process actively. Although Oriental Medicine can treat most conditions, there are circumstances that Western Medicine can deal with more effectively. In such cases, your acupuncturist will recommend you contact a Western Medical Doctor. Therefore, Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine should be seen as complementary to Western Medicine.
Is Acupuncture Painful?
Acupuncture bears no resemblance to the feeling of receiving an injection since the primary source of pain from injections is the larger diameter, hollow needle, and the medications being forced into the tissue by pressure. Acupuncture needles are very fine and flexible, about the diameter of human hair. In most cases, insertion by a skilled practitioner is performed without discomfort. Upon entering, you may experience a mild initial sensation, followed by a tingling, numbness, dull ache, or traveling warmth. However, most patients find the treatments very relaxing and may even fall asleep during treatment.
